Way back in 1993, I began my studies for my BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree (typography specialism). Thus began my love affair with the Macintosh platform, and the many graphic design packages in use in the industry. Upon graduation in 1996 I was unable to secure a job straight away, and so reverted to my technical background to take a support role at Solent University’s Design Faculty.
I was able to relate to the design students in a unique way and tailored my support for them around my own experiences. I have managed to stay up-to-date with the Adobe and Quark packages through the years, and my background remains applicable to my customers in the field today. Not only can I provide support for these packages in the Mac environment, but I'm still keenly interested in graphic design in general.
I'm pleased to say that all of the corporate identity for Mac Woes is all my own work...!
Let's be clear about this - I am not a web programmer. If you want a Java enabled, PHP driven, CGI-BIN eCommerce site, then there are plenty of people out there who earn a ton of money doing just this. It's a profession all to itself.
However I do know my way around the ins and outs of creating your own web presence, and there are tools I can use to create simple yet elegant factual website. I created this site and a number of others like it.
If you would like me to assist you in getting noticed on the web, please get in touch.
